Hana.

It’s the hanami (花見) season again here @ where I’m currently at.

.

These few days the nobody-knows-what-they-are-called trees that grew in the open air car park of the working place are having their ‘cherry blossom’ session. Not sakura of course, but these trees always have their flowers blooming at some time in the August. Last time there were some in the campus area too.

Pictures taken this morning, using my phone. Only the third time using its camera function after six months of utilizing it. At times like this, I really gotta hate my DSLR is dead somewhere in a dark corner since many moons ago.

I’m buying a used D40 with good condition for USD100. Anyone? Aha. Sorry for the lack of budget.

So Moe!

So Moe typing game. It doesn’t seemed to have a proper name so I just named it this way.

.

Not sure how long has it been exist, but I came across this game only very recently through chibi’s post. It’s a song lyrics typing flash game and all the songs available are, yes you bet, anime themes. But what I like is the interface of the game: very neatly done, looking very pro and all.

Currently there are about 50+ songs in the database, from the good ‘ol For Fruits Basket to the recent Dango Daikazoku (alright not THAT recent after all), ranged from level 00 to level 13.

Screenies time!

Wo-h-h E-eee

Everyone should watch Wall-E. Very educational.

Not too many dialogs, but the interactions between the robots are really cute. And because of not too many talking, the good voice acting, bgm and soundtracks pretty much meant a lot to this animation movie. Love the “woh~oh~oh~eeeee” and “eeeeee~vahhh~” bits, lols.

Not to forget little references like Wall-E’s start up - definitely putting a smile on all Mac users out there.

Refreshing theme, with cute yet kinda sad storyline (especially the front), wonderful animation from Pixar, I can’t really find anything to complain about. Everyone should get the messages that it’s trying to tell as well.

Last but not least, nice and meaningful ending theme: Down to Earth performed by Peter Gabriel.

We’re coming down to the ground
There’s no better place to go
We’ve got snow upon the mountains
We’ve got rivers down below
We’re coming down to the ground
To hear the birds sing in the trees
And the land will be looked after
Send the seeds out in the breeze

Get the soundtrack here.

My Life I Trade In For Your Pain

Daybreak’s Bell by L’arc~en~Ciel fits Gundam 00’s OP theme so well. Hyde sama is amazing as usual.

.

願いよ風に乗って夜明けの鐘を鳴らせよ
鳥のように My wish is over their airspace
無数の波を超え明日へ立ち向かう貴方を
守りたまえ My life I trade in for your pain
振り向かず羽ばたけ この想いを運んで あの空を飛んでく
願いは誰にも撃ち落せない

.

Just done with the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 yesterday. Am never really a mecha fans but I actually like the plots and pace of this anime, pretty engaging to watch especially on the second half. Not to mention all of the OPs and EDs are amazing.

Before continue reading, there are a lot of major spoilers ahead.

Sketchbook ~full color’S~

Sora’s winning expression. Uwaa~

Watching Sketchbook ~full color’S~ makes you feel like life is going to s l o w down a lot since the main character Sora is an extremely slow girl. But that’s just probably what we really need right now, when most of the time we’re just rushing everyday through to Friday & weekends and then repeat the same process again.

This 13 eps slice of life + comedy anime is a win because: -
